The Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology, Ikere-Ekiti (BOUESTI) academic calendar for the 2024/2025 session has been released.



The calendar details key activities and dates for undergraduate students across both semesters.
BOUESTI Academic Calendar
First Semester

Week 1Sunday, 12th January 2025: Fresh students arrive at the residence.
Monday, 13th – Saturday, 18th January 2025: Online screening, registration, and orientation for fresh students.

Week 2Sunday, 19th January 2025: Returning students arrive at the residence.
Monday, 20th January 2025: Lectures begin for all students.
Monday, 20th – Friday, 24th January 2025: Online registration for returning students and college-based course exposition.

Week 3Monday, 27th – Friday, 31st January 2025: Lectures continue.
Senate considers 2023/2024 second-semester examination results.

Week 4Monday, 3rd – Friday, 7th February 2025: Lectures continue.

Week 5Monday, 10th – Friday, 14th February 2025: Lectures continue.
End of registration and portal closure.

Week 6 – Week 8Monday, 17th February – Friday, 7th March 2025: Lectures continue, with the first continuous assessment in Week 7.

Week 9Monday, 10th – Friday, 14th March 2025: Lectures continue.

Week 14 – Week 15Monday, 14th April – Friday, 25th April 2025: Revision, followed by the first-semester examination.

Week 16 – Week 17Monday, 28th April – Friday, 9th May 2025: Examination continues and ends.
Second Semester

Week 1Monday, 2nd – Friday, 6th June 2025: Resumption and registration for all students.

Week 5Monday, 30th June – Friday, 4th July 2025: Lectures continue.
End of registration and portal closure.

Week 7 – Week 10Monday, 14th July – Friday, 8th August 2025: Lectures continue, with two continuous assessments in Week 7 and Week 10.

Week 15 – Week 17Monday, 8th – Friday, 26th September 2025: Revision, second-semester examination, and vacation of residence.
