School of Applied SciencesArtificial IntelligenceCandidates must have at least a Lower Credit in a National Diploma (ND) in Computer Science from an NBTE-accredited institution.
Candidates must meet the minimum requirements for ND admission and have completed a one-year post-ND industrial work experience.
Candidates with a Pass in ND must provide evidence of at least two years of post-ND industrial work experience.
School of EngineeringComputer Engineering Technology
Civil Engineering TechnologyCandidates must have at least a Lower Credit in ND from NBTE-accredited programmes in Computer or Civil Engineering.
Candidates must meet the minimum ND admission requirements and have completed a one-year industrial work experience.
Candidates with a Pass in ND must show evidence of at least two years of post-ND industrial work experience.
School of Environmental StudiesSurvey and Geo-InformaticsCandidates must have at least a Lower Credit in ND in Geo-Informatics, Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, or Cartography and GIS from an NBTE-accredited institution.
Candidates must meet the minimum ND admission requirements and have completed a one-year industrial work experience.
Candidates with a Pass in ND must provide evidence of at least two years of post-ND industrial work experience.
Application Process for Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic HND Admission
Follow these steps to apply for the HND programmes:Visit the Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic website.
Generate an invoice by providing your phone number and name.
Proceed to any commercial bank with the invoice (RRR number) to purchase an electronic application PIN. Pay ₦8,000, which includes bank charges, to obtain the PIN.
Complete the application form by visiting the Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic application portal.
Select “Admissions,” choose “Application Forms,” and enter the obtained PIN to access the application form.
Upload the following documents to the portal:One-year industrial attachment letter.
Official ND transcript or statement of result.
Photocopy of the registration receipt.
Screening and Important Dates
The screening for prospective applicants will be held on 3rd and 4th December 2024 at the candidate’s proposed department.
Applicants must be present in person with the original copies of their credentials for the screening exercise.
The results of the screening exercise will be published accordingly.
