The UBA National Essay Competition is part of the UBA Foundation’s educational initiative.

The goal is to promote a reading culture and foster healthy competition among students in Nigeria and across Africa.

The UBA Foundation has set up attractive prizes for the winners of this year’s competition:Winner: N7,500,000 (Educational grant to any African university).
First Runner-up: N5,000,000 (Educational grant to any African university).
Second Runner-up: N3,500,000 (Educational grant to any African university).
Eligibility Criteria

To participate in the UBA National Essay Competition, applicants must meet the following requirements:Be a Nigerian Senior Secondary School Student.
Provide complete contact information.
Upload a handwritten essay of no more than 750 words (typed essays are not accepted).
Upload a recent passport photograph.
Upload a scanned copy of your Birth Certificate, National ID, or International Passport.
