These steps guide all successful candidates through admission confirmation, fee payment, and clearance processes.

Check Admission StatusVisit the AAU admission portal.
Click on “Check Admission” and enter your JAMB registration number and surname.
If admitted, accept the offer on the JAMB CAPS portal.
Ensure your WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB results are uploaded to JAMB CAPS.


Pay Acceptance FeeLog in to the portal after accepting your admission.
Check for your student ID and password.
Use the credentials to log in and pay the acceptance fee.
Check Clearance StatusLog in with your student ID and password on the portal.
Review your clearance status on the top right of the page.
If details are incorrect, update them by clicking “My Data” and “Clearance Data.”
Request clearance again after saving the correct details.
Pay School Fees and Other ChargesSelect “My Data” and choose “Payments.”
Add a payment ticket and select the required category, such as acceptance fee or school fees.
Proceed with payment using an ATM-enabled Verve or MasterCard.
Get Matriculation NumberLog in to the portal and go to “My Data.”
Click “Base Data” and “Get Matriculation Number.”
Download and print your matriculation number slip.
Register CoursesLog in and select the “My Data” tab.
Click “Add course list” and create a course list.
Edit or register the course list and download the registration slip.
Important Notes for StudentsCollect university receipts for all payments from faculty accountants.
Submit copies of credentials, matriculation slip, clearance forms, and receipts to the faculty office.
