The SG Holdings Foundation Scholarship Scheme offers financial support to indigenes of the Ijemo Community.



This scholarship is open to students enrolled in public universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education across Nigeria.

The scheme also includes an intervention fund for members of the Christ Anglican Church, Ijemo Abeokuta.

Eligible Courses for the Scholarship

The scholarship covers undergraduate programs in the following fields:Medical Courses
Engineering
Law
Education
Basic & Applied Sciences
ICT/Computer Science
Agriculture
Management Sciences (Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Marketing, Banking & Finance)
Environmental Studies (Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Town & Regional Planning)

All courses must be full-time programs.

The Scholarship Board may adjust the coverage of courses as needed.

Conditions for Eligibility

To apply for the SG Holdings Foundation Scholarship Scheme, you must meet these criteria:You must be a native of Ijemo in Abeokuta, Ogun State, or have lived in Ijemo for at least 15 years.
You must be a student at a public university, polytechnic, or college of education.
Freshers must have gained admission through JAMB and paid the required acceptance fee.
Returning students (from 200 Level onward) must provide their CGPA, certified by the Dean or HOD. A minimum CGPA of Second Class Lower (Universities), Lower Credit (Polytechnics), or Credit (Colleges of Education) is required.
How to Apply for the Scholarship
Option 1: Online Application

Submit your application via email to [email protected] with the subject “Application for 2024”.

Attach the following documents:A one-page document detailing your academic background, the purpose of applying, and how you will contribute to the community after graduation.
Local Government Certificate of Origin.
Proof of CGPA, signed and stamped by the Dean or HOD.
JAMB/Institution’s Admission Letter.
Completed Application Form and Attestation Letter (Download Application Form and Attestation Letter).
Student Identity Card.
Proof of Payment of School Admission Acceptance Fee (for new students only).
Option 2: Physical Submission

Take all required documents to the SG Holdings Foundation Secretariat at 59 Olorunsogo Road, Oke Lantoro Roundabout, Abeokuta (Beside Al Hilaal Hospital).
Important NotesAll documents will be verified by the Scholarship Board.
You must submit an attestation letter from a notable Ijemo Chief confirming your Ijemo nativity and good behaviour.
Your application will only be considered complete when all requirements are met.
Scholarship ValueUniversity students: N150,000 per annum
Polytechnic students: N125,000 per annum
College of Education students: N100,000 per annum
