Entry Requirements
To apply for this programme, candidates must meet the following criteria.You must be at least 16 years old.
You should have the Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE, NECO, NABTEB, or GCE).
You must have a minimum of five credits in subjects including English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
You can take the exams in no more than two sittings.
Bring your Birth Certificate (Baptism cards are not accepted).
You will need a testimonial from your last school.
A letter from your Parish Priest or Pastor or a Baptism Certificate is also required.
If you are married, bring your Marriage Certificate.
During the interview, you must present original and photocopies of all required documents.
You will also need three recent passport photographs.
Bring a valid ID, such as your NIN, PVC, Driver’s Licence, or International Passport.
Post Basic Nursing candidates must submit their Registered Midwife (RM) Certificate and License.
How to Apply
The forms will be available for purchase from 10th September 2024.
You must buy the form at the College.
The application fee is ₦20,250, which you should pay into First Bank account number 3016944553 under the name School of Nursing, Mater Misericordiae Hospital, Afikpo.
After making the payment, visit the school with proof of payment to get your entrance form.
The office is open from Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
You should return your completed form to the school by 22nd October 2024.
Entrance Examination and Interview
The entrance examination will cover Maths, English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
The test will be conducted through Computer-Based Testing (CBT).
The examination and interview will be held on Thursday, 24th October and Friday, 25th October 2024, starting at 8:30 AM.
Post Basic Nursing candidates should bring their Midwifery Notification and Licenses to the interview.
Only candidates who meet all entry requirements and pass the entrance examination will proceed to the interview stage.
Important NotesYou must bring your original payment receipt and all relevant documents to the examination and interview.
