Eligibility Criteria for YUMSUK Post-UTME/DE Screening
UTME Candidates

Candidates must meet the following requirements:First Choice Selection: The Yusuf Maitama Sule University, Kano, must be the candidate’s first choice.
Academic Qualifications: Candidates must have at least five credits, including English Language and Mathematics, in their SSCE or equivalent exams, achieved in no more than two sittings.

Direct Entry (DE) Candidates

For Direct Entry, the following criteria apply:Registration Slip: Possession of the 2024 Direct Entry (DE) Online Registration Slip is mandatory.
Academic Qualifications: Candidates must hold either a National Diploma (ND), IJMB, or NCE.
Minimum Grades: The minimum grades required are as follows:ND: A minimum CGPA of 3.0 for Science programmes and 3.5 for Art programmes.
NCE: A minimum of 9 points.
IJMB: A minimum of 7 points for Science programmes and 8 points for Art and Social Science programmes.

How to Apply for YUMSUK Post-UTME Screening

Visit the University Website

Candidates should visit the YUMSUK Website and access the 2024 Admission Portal to register for the Post-UTME Aptitude Test or Direct Entry Screening.

Payment Process

Generate a REMITA payment invoice from the portal and make a payment of N2,000.00 at any bank nationwide as the screening charges.

Complete Registration

Return to the portal after payment to complete the registration process and print the Acknowledgement Slip, which must be presented during the Aptitude Test or Direct Entry Screening along with other necessary documents.
