Reason for the Change
The management of UNICAL considered several factors before making this decision.
High transportation costs, fuel scarcity, accommodation challenges, and the current security situation in the country have all contributed to the decision to cancel the Post-UTME screening exercise.
New Screening Method: O’Level Grading System
Instead of the traditional Post-UTME test, UNICAL will now use an O’Level grading system to score candidates for the 2024/2025 admissions.
Candidates who selected UNICAL as their first choice and have already registered online are advised to visit the nearest JAMB-CBT centre to upload their O’Level results.
Extension for Registration
UNICAL has granted a one-week extension for Post-UTME registration on its portal.
Candidates who have not yet registered are encouraged to do so by Saturday, August 31, 2024.
Please be aware that there will be no further extensions beyond this deadline.
The registration portal will close on August 31, 2024.
Important Notice
UNICAL regrets any inconvenience this change may cause to applicants.
However, this adjustment aims to ensure a smoother and more efficient admission process.
