Admission Requirements
General Admission Information
Admission does not require a JAMB result. However, candidates will need a JAMB regularisation number upon successful admission for NYSC purposes. Admission is open to all, regardless of religion, ethnic group, gender, creed, or disability. All applicants must meet the university’s minimum requirements.
Tiered Admission Requirements
Tier 1Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE): WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, NBAIS, or foreign equivalent.
National Diploma, NCE, HND.
Tier 2For 100 Level: Five credits at SSCE in relevant subjects, including English and Mathematics, in no more than two sittings.
Tier 3For 200 Level (Direct Entry): Five SSCE credits plus at least two A’ level passes in relevant subjects, NCE, ND with credit passes, or a bachelor’s degree in another field. Nursing Science requires a registered Nursing Certificate. Community Health requires a Community Health Extension Worker license.
Tier 4For 300 Level: HND in a related course.
Tier 5For 400 Level (Top-Up Degree): A good bachelor’s degree in a related field.
