The Ekiti State University (EKSU) Post-UTME/Direct Entry screening form for the 2024/2025 academic session is now available. The screening exercise will commence on Wednesday, 24 July 2024. There will be no examination.

Eligibility CriteriaUTME candidates who chose EKSU and scored 140 or above in the 2024 UTME.
Candidates who did not initially choose EKSU but scored 140 or above and are willing to change their first-choice institution to EKSU on the JAMB CAPS.
Candidates awaiting SSSC results should apply only after results are released.
Minimum UTME scores for specific courses are:Mass Communication: 180
Medical Laboratory Science: 220
Nursing: 220
Law: 240
Medicine (MBBS): 250

Note: Candidates with lower scores may apply for other courses and must update their choice on JAMB CAPS.

Instructions for All Candidates

Visit the EKSU PortalGo to the EKSU Portal.
Click on “ADMISSION” to access the online application portal.


Create an AccountSign up with your details. Provide an active email address and personal phone number.
A verification email will be sent to you.


Login to Your DashboardUse your email address or JAMB registration number as the username and the password created during sign-up.
Select “2024/2025 PUTME application”.


Fill in Your DetailsEnter your JAMB Registration Number.
Information for candidates who chose EKSU will populate automatically.
Candidates who did not choose EKSU must fill in all their details correctly.


Payment for Screening FormClick “PAY NOW” to make the payment online.


Complete the Application FormAttach a 1×1 coloured passport photograph with a red background in JPEG format.
Upload details of your O’Level results obtained in no more than two sittings (WAEC SSCE, NECO, NABTEB).


Submit and PrintPreview, confirm, and submit the completed screening form.
Print out the completed form for your records.
Direct Entry CandidatesMust have a minimum of five O’ level credits, including English and Mathematics.
Engineering programmes require a minimum of Upper Credit from Polytechnics.
Other programmes require a minimum of Lower Credit.
MBBS and Law require a minimum of Second Class Lower Division.
Nursing Science candidates must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria as a Registered Nurse (RN).
NCE candidates need Credit Merit in relevant teaching subjects for Education programmes.
Direct Entry candidates should send transcripts to [email protected] by 30 September 2024.
Important InformationUTME candidates with NECO results must submit “Result Verification Tokens” at the Admissions Office.
Candidates without tokens should visit the NECO Verification Portal and input the email [email protected].
Failure to participate in the screening exercise will result in disqualification.
False information will lead to automatic disqualification.
