UCH Ibadan HND Admission Form 2023/2024
University College Hospital (UCH) Ibadan, School of Health Information Management (SHIM) is now accepting applications for its Higher National Diploma (HND) programme for the 2023/2024 academic session. The non-residential, two-year course commences in October 2023. Candidates will be selected based on academic qualifications, CBT performance, an oral interview, and certificate authenticity.

Programme Overview
The Two-Year Higher National Diploma (HND) Programme in Health Information Management is scheduled to commence in October 2023. The course is non-residential and provides an advanced level of training for students in the field of Health Information Management.
Eligibility for UCH Ibadan SHIM HND Programme
Candidates will be selected based on good academic qualifications, excellent performance in the computer-based test (CBT), and oral interview, along with the presentation of relevant ORIGINAL CERTIFICATES.
It is important to note that ONLY candidates with a MERIT or PASS in National Diploma (ND) should apply and they MUST have an ND practicing license or at least 3 years of working experience.
The Computer Based Test (CBT) for HND will cover the following subjects:Health Records Management
Anatomy and Physiology
Clinical Coding
Biostatistics
Computer Science
Health Planning Management
Please note that pregnancy is not allowed during the training. Furthermore, selected candidates will be required to undergo and pass a medical examination after admission.
Application Process
Interested applicants should pay a non-refundable application and screening fee of N10,000 into the TSA ACCOUNT (TSA/UCH/SHIM/ADMISSION FORM) at any commercial bank.
Following payment, applicants should convert their bank teller into a receipt at the Cash Office of the Finance & Accounts Department, University College Hospital, Ibadan. Both the photocopy of the receipt of payment and the photocopy of the bank teller should be forwarded or presented to the Administrative Office of the School.
All applicants are required to have a functional email address. Access codes for the online application can be collected from the School’s Administrative Office. The application should be completed online via portal.uch-ibadan.org.ng not later than 31st August 2023.
Screening and Interview Process
The dates for the screening exercise for the HND programme will be communicated to applicants via their email addresses. Successful applicants will also be notified for an oral interview at a later date through text messages and updates on the School’s website.
