Entry Requirements for Higher National Diploma (HND) Programmes

Aspiring applicants to these Higher National Diploma (HND) Programmes should be aware of the following key entry requirements:Applicants must have obtained a National Diploma in their chosen programme from a recognized/accredited Polytechnic or Monotechnic.
Applicants must also possess at least five (5) relevant O’level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, attained in no more than two sittings in WAEC/NECO or NABTEB (O’level Examinations).
Applicants must have at least 12 months or 24 months of post-National Diploma Industrial Training Experience.

Candidates are advised to visit the Polytechnic website at www.fpno.edu.ng for details on the entry requirements unique to each of the Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes. Candidates should note that any false data entry during the online registration process will result in disqualification once discovered.
How to Apply for HND Programmes

Prospective candidates who meet the criteria can apply for the HND Programmes by following these simple steps:Visit the school portal at www.fpno.edu.ng.
Click on the “Application form link” on the home page, under the student’s menu.
Choose HND (Higher National Diploma) to proceed.
Fill in your Bio-data in the form and generate an invoice.
Print or copy the invoice number (you can save it on your mobile phone).
Make a payment of N15,000.00 (Fifteen Thousand Naira only) using the Remita platform.
Proceed to Federal Polytechnic Nekede Microfinance Bank or any bank of your choice.
Provide the RRR number on the invoice you generated.
Alternatively, make payment using your VERVE, VISA, or MASTER CARD.If you choose the card payment option, fill in the required card details for immediate processing.
Return to the school’s website (www.fpno.edu.ng).
Click on “application form” and complete the application process.
Submit all the requested data.
Print out your acknowledgment slip.
If you made the payment using your card, you can also print your receipt and acknowledgment slip immediately.
Complete all application procedures by 12 midnight on August 31, 2023.

Note: Applicants can start and complete the application process from any location in the country. It is advisable to minimize trips to Owerri solely for the purpose of completing the form.
