Bayelsa Medical University (BMU) has announced its 4th Matriculation Ceremony for the 2022/2023 academic year, scheduled for Saturday, 17th June, 2023 at 8AM. All newly admitted students who have completed their registration are required to participate, and academic staff are mandated to join the academic procession. The university invites students, parents, and guests to join the ceremony at the Roof-top New Auditorium.

Date, Time, and Venue

The Matriculation Ceremony is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 17th June 2023, at 8:00 AM sharp. The event will be held at the Roof-top New Auditorium within the university premises.
Instructions for Newly Admitted Students

All new students who have successfully completed their registration and course enrollment for the 2022/2023 academic year are required to collect their academic gowns. Students can obtain their gowns from their respective faculty officers from Tuesday, 13th June 2023 onwards. It is essential to note that possessing an academic gown is a requirement for participation in the academic procession and the matriculation ceremony.
Call for Academic Staff Participation

BMU management emphasizes the importance of all academic staff to participate actively in the matriculation ceremony. It is mandatory for all academic staff to robe and partake in the academic procession. Notice to Students, Parents, and Guests

In order to ensure smooth proceedings, all students, parents, and invited guests are requested to be seated at the matriculation venue by 9:00 AM on the day of the ceremony. Punctuality will be greatly appreciated as it ensures the event starts and runs as scheduled.
