Augustine University Ilara-Epe (AUI) announces Post-UTME/DE registration for the 2023/2024 academic session. Details include eligibility, admission requirements, and application methods. Prospective students must meet specific criteria and follow guided steps for successful application.



The doors are open once again for prospective students to apply at Augustine University Ilara-Epe (AUI). We are pleased to announce that the Post-UTME/DE registration for the 2023/2024 academic session is officially underway. This announcement is an invitation to all qualified UTME and Direct Entry candidates to apply for admission into our prestigious degree programmes.

4 Economics Two A’ level passes in Economics and any one of Mathematics, Statistics, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Agric Science, Accounting, Bus. Management, History and Government. 5 O’Level credits in SSCE(or its equivalent) in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and two other arts or social science subjects. English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any of Government, Commerce, Financial Accounting, History, Literature-in-English, French and CRS/IRS.

3 Microbiology At least 2 A’ level passes in Biology, Botany, Zoology and Chemistry or Physics. Credit passes in NCE and OND in addition to 5 credits at SSCE (or its equivalent). Five credit passes in SSCE (or its equivalent) in English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. English Language, Biology, Chemistry and any other Science Subject.
4 Physics Two A’ level passes in Physics and Mathematics. Five O’ level credit passes in SSCE (or its equivalent) to include English Language, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. English Language, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry or Biology.
5 Computer Science Two A’ level passes in science subjects including Mathematics. OR NCE with at least merit in Mathematics and one other Science or Social Science subject. Five O’ level credit passes in SSCE (or its equivalent) to include English Language, Mathematics, Physics plus two other Science Subjects. English Language, Mathematics, Physics and one of Biology, Chemistry, Agric Science, Economics and Geography.
6 Chemistry Two A’ level passes in Chemistry and any one of Physics, Mathematics or Biology in that order. Or Credit passes in HND in addition to 5 Credits in SSCE (or its equivalent). Five Credits in SSCE (or its equivalent) in English Language, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics & Biology. English Language, Chemistry and any two of Physics, Mathematics & Biology.
7 Biochemistry Two A’level passes in Chemistry and any one of Mathematics, Biology or Physics Or Credit passes in HND in relevant field in addition to five (5) credit passes in SSCE (or its equivalent). Five Credits in SSCE (or its equivalent) in English Language, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics & Biology. English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Mathematics.

Eligibility Criteria

Prospective candidates must satisfy a set of eligibility criteria before admission into Augustine University can be considered. Here are the necessary details:Age Limit: Candidates must be a minimum of 16 years old by October of the admission year.
Educational Background: Applicants must have completed their secondary school education and earned at least five O’Level Credit passes in either one or two sittings in the West African SSCE/GCE/NECO or its equivalents. These passes must include English Language, Mathematics and a minimum of three other subjects relevant to the proposed course of studies.
Provision for Awaited Results: If you’re awaiting results for SSCE/GCE, we’ve got you covered; you can also apply.
UTME Examination: Augustine University should be your first choice in the UTME Examinations of the admission year. If this isn’t the case, you may still apply but bear in mind that you’ll need to process a change of institution on the JAMB portal once provisional admission into AUI is granted.
Direct Entry: If you’re applying through Direct Entry, you’re welcome to do so.
Admission Requirements

To gain admission into Augustine University, in addition to meeting the eligibility criteria, prospective students need to satisfy the following admission requirements:All admissions are processed through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation’s Board (JAMB).
For admission into the 100 level (UTME), besides obtaining a minimum of five (5) Ordinary level credit passes in SSCE (or its equivalent), candidates must pass the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) as specified by JAMB and satisfy the University requirements in a Post-UTME screening exercise for their desired course of study.
For admission into the 200 level (Direct Entry), in addition to the five (5) Ordinary level credit passes, candidates should obtain at least two (2) A’ level (or its equivalent) full passes in relevant subjects, or possess an NCE, or a good first degree in another field.
All candidates must meet the SSCE/NECO or its equivalent basic requirements.
Method of Application

Applications are to be made online via the Augustine University website. Follow these simple steps to complete your application:


Payment: Pay an application fee of N5,500 either through E-tranzact or use the online payment option on the application portal.
Registration: Visit the undergraduate admission page (https://augustineuniversity.edu.ng/application/), locate the ‘New Application’ section and fill all required fields. Click the “Sign Up” button when done.
Confirmation: Check your email for a confirmation message and your application number, which will be needed to log in to your personal AUI account. Please, do check your spam box if you can’t find it in your inbox.
