Portal Access and Login Information
How to Log In to the Student PortalNavigate to the student portal via the following link: https://student-portal.ui.edu.ng/.
Username: Utilise your institutional student email or matriculation number.
Password: Initially, this will be your surname in lowercase letters.
Upon logging in, select the 2022-2023 academic year from the top-right corner.
After successfully accessing the portal, you will be prompted to change your current password for security purposes.
Detailed Steps for Payment of School Fees
Navigating to the Payment SectionOnce logged in, locate and click on the ‘Fees’ option in the left-hand menu.
Thereafter, select the ‘My Fees’ tab.
Mandatory Fees for All Students

Students are obliged to pay the following:Bundled Fee or School Fee: This is a cumulative fee that covers multiple aspects of your education.
Technology Levy: This is a separate payment intended for the technological services provided by the institution.
Utility Levy: This fee covers basic utilities and is also to be paid separately.
Faculty-Specific FeesMedical students are required to pay a Health Professional Levy or Laboratory Professional Fee.
For students enrolled in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, a Special DVM Levy is compulsory.
Completing the Payment ProcessTick the checkbox beside each fee you intend to pay and then click ‘Proceed’.
Confirm the details of your pending payments to ensure their accuracy.
Click ‘Proceed to Pay’, after which you’ll be redirected to the chosen payment platform.
Here, you will select your preferred method of payment, such as card, bank, branch, transfer, or Remita, and then follow the provided instructions to complete the transaction.
Confirmation and Receipt of PaymentAfter a successful transaction, you’ll be redirected back to the portal.
Go to ‘Fees’ then select ‘Transactions’ to confirm your payment status.
Download a PDF version of your payment details by clicking on the ‘eye’ icon under ‘Actions’.
A Remita receipt will also be sent to your registered email.
