Requirements for Admission

Candidates seeking to enrol in the NCE part-time programmes should meet at least one of the following qualifications:Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE), G.C.E. ‘O’ Level or NECO with passes in 5 subjects, including English Language and Mathematics. At least three of these subjects must be at credit level.
Grade II Teacher’s Certificate (TCII) with credits or merits in at least three subjects, including English Language.
For candidates targeting Vocational and Technical Courses, qualifications like R.S.A or City and Guilds Intermediate Certificate along with a Federal Craft Training Certificate are acceptable.
An Associateship Certificate in Education awarded by an approved institution can also be a valid entry point.
Candidates who have successfully cleared the Pre-NCE final or MPCE examinations are also eligible for admission.

How to Apply

Candidates keen on enrolling in the part-time programmes must pay a non-refundable fee of N4,000.00 at the bank through the Bursary Office. Upon payment confirmation, candidates should visit the Degree Unit with the blue receipt to collect the admission form.

Note: Once admitted, part-time NCE students are required to register at a JAMB-accredited CBT Centre.
