Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike, Ikwo (AE-FUNAI) announces its 2023/2024 Post-UTME/Direct Entry registration from 15th August to 1st October 2023. General eligibility requires a UTME score of 150+ with AE-FUNAI as the first choice. Specialised courses like Medicine and Law have thresholds of 250 and 240 respectively. Those who didn't initially choose AE-FUNAI but meet criteria can change via JAMB's portal. The screening method won't involve CBT but will assess based on JAMB and O/Level results.

Registrations are scheduled to commence on Tuesday, 15th August 2023 and will conclude on Sunday, 1st October 2023.

Eligibility Criteria for FUNAI Post UTMEAspirants with a minimum score of 150 in the 2023 UTME, and who designated AE-FUNAI, Ebonyi State, as their primary institution of choice in their 2023 UTME and Direct Entry applications.
Candidates targeting the Medicine and Surgery programme need to attain at least a score of 250 in UTME, while Law applicants require a minimum of 240.

Moreover, those who met the score requirements but didn’t choose AE-FUNAI as their initial institution can still apply for the Post UTME. These candidates should proceed with a ‘Change of Institution/Course’ on the JAMB Portal in favour of AE-FUNAI. This holds true for Direct Entry aspirants as well. However, there will be no Direct Entry admissions for Medicine and Surgery, as well as Law programmes.

How to Apply for FUNAI Post UTME

Interested candidates need to submit a fee of N2,000 for processing. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to apply:Navigate to the University’s official website: FUNAI and locate ADMISSIONS or QUICK LINKS.
Click on 2023/2024 Admission Screening.
Select either 2023/2024 PUTME Screening Registration or 2023/2024 Direct Entry Admission Registration.
Choose ‘Prospective Students’ and click ‘Click to Apply’ under the 2023/2024 Admission Screening Application.
Key in your ‘JAMB Registration Number’.
Choose your payment mode and generate the Remita Retrieval Reference Number.
Head to any commercial bank to complete the payment using your Remita number.
Return to the Application page, re-enter your ‘JAMB Registration Number’, and complete the form.
Submit the form.
Print out your acknowledgement slip and ensure you have it for the Post-UTME/Direct Entry Test.
Essential Information for CandidatesSuccessful candidates receiving a provisional admission offer to AE-FUNAI must accept within two weeks, or the offer will be considered forfeited.
Those wishing to register for the Post-UTME via E-FUNAI ICT points can visit the University’s specified locations.
It’s recommended to use easily accessible GSM numbers during registration for efficient communication.
Screening Mode

The 2023/2024 academic session PUTME screening will be based on the assessment of JAMB UTME results, O/ Level, and Direct entry results. There will be no PUTME Computer-Based Test (CBT). Ensure O/ Levels and Direct Entry results are uploaded to JAMB CAPS by 1st October 2023. Applications without a result upload will not be considered.
